Kid Digital Camera
I got my niece a kid digital camera and now I’m her favorite relative. I don’t know about you, but I cannot come up with birthday presents for my only niece; it’s a struggle every year. This year however, I hit the jackpot. She literally loves it. My brother tells me that she hasn’t stopped talking about her uncle for a couple of weeks now. And given the attention span of a 7 year old, I definitely did hit the Jackpot.
I didn’t even know they made digital cameras for kids. I ran an internet search for kid gift ideas and stumbled upon it. I started thinking back about how I loved taking pictures when I was a kid and thought she might love it too. And the best part about a digital camera, unlike what we used when I was a kid, is that you don’t have to worry about developing film nor running out of it; just click, take a look to view, if you don’t like, delete and click some more. Once enough photos have been taken, using software that comes with most of these cameras, just download them into your computer and Voila. And the photo quality is nothing short of fabulous.
There are however different types of these cameras, and depending on your need, there are some things to take into consideration in order to pick a kid digital camera that is just right; ie. best user experience for kids and best value for the buyer. Colors for instance, a cute pink color camera can be perfect for a little girl, while a blue one may be more appealing to a boy. Internal memory card size is an important feature as well as LCD screen size and megapixels. Durability, in my opiniion, should also be a dertermining factor, if I’m buying a digital camera for a kid, I’d want to know that it will withstand the play that a youngster will put it through.
There are many digital camera outlets out there, I bought from Ritz Camera, in addition to their great prices, they offer free shipping on certain orders, and usually ship within 24 hours. They also offer reviews, top 10 sellers, and suggestions that may help make your purchase very satisfying.
I think a kid digital camera is a present that any kid would love to get, and judging by my niece’s reaction, it definitely is; my only problem is that the time will come, next year, when I will have to come up with another gift idea.
